Featurewall ("we", "us") provides a software-as-a-service platform that lets you collect feature requests on public feedback boards, moderate them, and publish updates on hosted changelog pages and embeddable widgets ("the Service"). These Terms govern your use of the Service. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You may have one account per person.
Feedback posts and changelog entries you collect or publish through the Service are your content. You retain ownership of your content and grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit it solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to collect and publish any content your users submit. You may export your data (CSV, Pro plan) and delete your content at any time.
You may not use the Service to: (a) violate any law or regulation; (b) infringe the rights of others; (c) publish unlawful, defamatory, or fraudulent content; (d) send spam or engage in scraping, credential stuffing, phishing, or any attack against the Service or third parties; (e) interfere with or disrupt the Service or its underlying systems; (f) resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission; or (g) misuse the voting or notification features to manipulate feedback or harass users. Submitters on your board must be offered a working unsubscribe link in every notification email (the Service does this automatically). We may remove content that violates these Terms.
Paid plans ("Pro") are billed monthly through Stripe at the price displayed at checkout ($19/month). Payments are collected by Stripe; card details never touch our servers. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; access to paid features continues until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If a payment fails, your account reverts to the Free plan. We may change prices for future billing periods with reasonable notice; price changes do not affect your current paid period.
We provide the Service with the care and skill of a professional service provider and aim for continuous availability. From time to time we may perform maintenance, modify features, or discontinue features; we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Where the law requires consent to a material change, we will ask for it.
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account (and all workspaces) from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, interfere with the Service, or create risk to other users. Upon termination your right to use the Service ends; your data will be deleted in accordance with our retention practices. If your paid plan is suspended for a billing or policy reason, we will tell you and, where possible, give you time to export your content.
The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to your content. We welcome feedback and suggestions, and you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable license to use any feedback you provide to improve the Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT YOUR CONTENT WILL BE SECURE FROM UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE FEES YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR $100. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTENT YOU PUBLISH AND FOR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Featurewall and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your content; (b) your use of the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We encourage you to contact us first at contact@featurewall.site to resolve any dispute informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you agree that it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Helsinki, Finland. Nothing in this section limits your rights under mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence, including your right to take legal action in your local courts where the law so provides.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
